Josh Lenzini has served the nation as a soldier, industry partner and Army civilian. After graduating Florida State University in Mechanical Engineering he was commissioned an officer in U.S. Army. After completing Officer Basic Course Josh’s first assignment was Platoon Leader/XO C Company, 702 Main Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey; Korea in 1992. His next assignment was Battalion Motor Officer, 522 Military Intelligence Battalion, 2nd Armor Division and 2nd Brigade Readiness Officer, 4th Infantry Division Material Management Center at Fort Hood, TX from 1993-96. He was 24th Ordnance Company Commander, 260th Quartermaster Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division at Hunter Army Airfield, GA from 1997-1999. He was sent to graduate school at University of Central Florida and then designated a Functional Area Officer as an Operations Research/System Analysis (ORSA) in 2001 after earning degrees in both Operations Research and Engineering Management. Josh’s remaining assignments included various Operations Research Analyst positions to include: Operations Analyst at TRADOC Analysis Center, Fort Lee, VA from 2001-2004, Operations Officer/XO at Joint Multinational Training Command, Grafenwoehr, Germany from 2004-2007, Strategic Analyst at Multinational Force- Iraq, Baghdad, 2007; Chief of Operations Research at AFRICOM, Stuttgart, Germany from 2008-2011; and finally Training Needs Analyst at Allied Command Transformation (NATO) from 2011-2013. After transitioning from active duty, Josh worked at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a SETA contractor in Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) from 2013-2014. Josh was then hired as a Programming Analyst at Department of the Army Deputy Chief of Staff G-8, Force Development from 2014-2020. He was selected to attend Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy at National Defense University and graduated in 2021. Josh was then hired as Director of the Research Facilitation Laboratory (RFL) in Monterey, CA. supporting research and analysis for People Analytics enterprise. RFL is part of the Army Analytics Group (AAG) under the U.S. Army Chief Information Officer (CIO).
